KARBEYAZ, Turkey — Security forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad of Syria moved Friday to crush opposition in the volatile town of Jisr al-Shoughour in the country’s restive northwest, Syrian state television reported, after days of unrest that sent more than 1,000 civilians fleeing north to Turkey.
