The International Olympic Committee (IOC) held a special ceremony at its Lausanne headquarters on Thursday 23 June to present its prestigious Women in Sport Awards. The event, which coincided with Olympic Day, was attended by IOC president Jacques Rogge and Anita DeFrantz, chair of the IOC’s Women and Sport commission."
