The Lifetime Achievement Award for the ongoing 39th International Istanbul Music Festival will be presented this year to Gidon Kremer, one of the world’s leading and most respected violinists. The award ceremony will be organized Friday night at the Hagia Irene Museum as part of an event titled “Hommage a Glenn Gould.” Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts, or İKSV, Executive Board Chairman Bülent Eczacıbaşı will present the award."
