"Turkish doctor arrested for allegedly hiding suspect's health report
The head of the Istanbul University Hospital’s Cardiology Institute was arrested Tuesday for allegedly hiding a health report on a prominent Ergenekon suspect from the courts.
Professor Erhan Kansız, the doctor for Ergenekon suspect Professor Mehmet Haberal, was questioned by Public Prosecutor Fikret Seçen and transferred to the 13th Court of Serious Crimes with a demand for his arrest. The court approved the demand and sent Kansız to prison to stand trial for “aiding and abetting a criminal organization.”"
