Following a decision to demolish sculptor Mehmet Aksoy's 'Monument to Humanity,' described by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as 'freakish,' the Karşıyaka Municipality in İzmir has contacted the Kars Municipality and asked if it could be moved to the western city.
