A seasoned dealmaker, he is after investment opportunities in international markets, including China, Brazil and Turkey, where he is advising TPG, the private equity group, on its pursuit of Dogan Yayin, Turkey’s biggest media group. Aydin Dogan, who controls the group, has put most of his company’s assets on the block, including its TV networks, as he tries to resolve multibillion-dollar tax fines imposed by the Turkish government. The auction has attracted interest from, among others KKR, another private equity group, and Time Warner. "
