ANKARA, Turkey -- The foreign ministry on Saturday (January 22nd) slammed a statement by Greek President Karolos Papoulias, who referred to Turks as 'barbarians'. Ankara warned that such statements can harm reconciliation efforts between Greece and Turkey."
