Abdullah GulAccording to some reports in the Turkish media, Nicolas Sarkozy the French President and Abdullah Gul the Turkish President had a clash over Iran in Lisbon at this weekend’s NATO summit. The NATO decided not to name Iran the main source for the potential nuclear attack, which was insisted by the French President Sarkozy. This proposal by the French President was the source of much concern of the Turkey.In an angry exchange the Turkish President Abdullah Gul told French President that he should forget to any country as the missile shield project should not be targeted towards any country."
