The Turkish state minister for media welcomed on Saturday the Euronews broadcasting in Turkish.
Turkey’s State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Bülent Arınç said Turkey had symbolically joined the European Union with Euronews broadcasting in Turkish, reported Anatolia news agency.
A ceremony took place in Istanbul for the occasion of Euronews broadcasting, one of the most high-prestige media organs in Europe, in Turkish. Euronews will cooperate with the Turkish state-run TRT."
