EU expressed serious concern over the arrests of high ranking Turkish servicemen charged with planning a coup. A spokeswoman for European Union Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule said the allegations were a “serious matter of concern”, EU business website reads. According to her, the investigation should be “carried out in full respect of the principles and standards of a fair judicial process.”"
