Day.Az interview with member of the Grand Natinoal Assembly of Turkey (Parliament) from the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) and head of the Turkey-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group Mustafa Kabakci.
What steps the AKP is going to take in terms of ratification of the Turkey-Armenia accords? Will the process continue?
Turkey has a definite position regarding the protocols which will remain unchanged. Our position is that as a first step Armenia should leave Azerbaijan’s occupied lands. We will open borders with Armenia after the last Armenian soldier leaves the occupied territories."
