The FINANCIAL -- ANKARA. The Turkish army has carried out an artillery attack on Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) positions in northern Iraq, Turkish media said on January 8.
A Kurdish website said the shelling of the Zap region took place on January 7 evening, the first such incident for many months."
