Lebanon asks Turkey for electricity

"Lebanon asks Turkey for electricity

Lebanon has made a request to Turkey to purchase 250 megawatts of electrical energy.

The Turkish Electricity Trading and Contracting Company, or TETAŞ, received the request for 250 mw of energy, which translates to over 1 billion kilowatts per hour of electricity trade in a year. There is no electrical energy line that runs from Turkey directly to Lebanon, but the transmission can occur over existing lines that run through Syria, which have a 500 mw capacity per year."
