ISTANBUL - 'There is a negative energy which stemmed from claims that Turkey-EU process will be closed and there will be a train crash. Walking on a smooth asphalt road is not important. This path (to EU membership) has ups and downs. This is a reality. I believe we will overcome problems by talking,' Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul said in a joint press conference with German FM Frank-Walter Steinmeier on Thursday."
