Turkey's role as a key U.S. ally in the Middle East is being undermined by growing anti-American sentiment because of the war in Iraq and the Bush administration's failure to take tough measures against the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), Egemen Bağış, a lawmaker of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), has said."
