According to some recent surveys, Turks have become cooler towards the United States and the European Union and warmer towards Iran. Actually, due to the policies of President George W. Bush, we know that support for the United States is diminishing in other close allies such as Britain, the Netherlands and Germany. However, the decline in Turkey has turned into an implosion. Similarly, there is a huge decrease in the support given by Turks to the EU as well. In other words, Turkey’s relations with the West have entered a period of serious deterioration. "
