"US Embassy presents police fund in Ankara with $10,000
The US Embassy in Ankara presented the Ankara Police Fund for Disabled and Fallen Officers with a $10,000 donation on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of September 11. In presenting the money to Police Fund President Nursen Donmez yesterday, US Ambassador Ross Wilson recalled that 25 year old Turkish citizen Zuhtu Ibiz had also died in the September 11 attacks, noting that terrorism had affected everyone.
