The European Commission’s Representative in Turkey Hansjoerg Kretschmer speaking at the World Bank meeting on 'Promoting Sustained Growth and Convergence with the European Union' on Monday, repeated that our country could technically become a member in 2014. In order to keep to this schedule, he said the accession negotiations need to be completed by 2012 at the latest. "
