[MUAY THAI] Turkish fighters ruled the ring on the opening day of the World Muaythai Federation (WMF) World Championships, with the in-form Hanife Alitun using her sharp blows to end Belarussian Katsiaryna Halavach's challenge in the first round.
Alitun, the only Turkish woman in the ring yesterday, was in devastating form against Halavach. Opening with a fierce attack, Alitun peppered her opponent with kicks and a series of heavy punches."
