About a year ago we warned the authorities in a banner headline in The New Anatolian that nationalist Turks were being armed against Kurds in Turkey. At the time we were accused of sensationalism for the sake of boosting the circulation of our young newspaper. We would have loved to have been wrong but unfortunately we were right as events throughout Turkey have proved how justified our warnings were."
