The echo in the EU from the list of allegations about General Yasar Buyukanit that emerged earlier this week is a surprise. Does the EU see this list of allegations as some sort of settling of accounts between the AKP administration and the military? Does it opine that this is a victory for democracy? Does it interpret it as being a sign of the supremacy of justice, or the independant nature of the court system? "
