"Turkish citizenship: 'Yes' to Merve, 'no' to Nazim
The rights of former Turkish citizens who have had their passports and citizenship stripped due to certain actions are being reexamined under a new Turkish Citizenship bill being discussed by cabinet of ministers in Ankara. According to the new bill, people who have lost their citizenships for various reasons may apply in person to regain citizenship, and must then reside in Turkey for a period of at least 3 years."
