"Three determined business ‘commandos’ of Sudan
Three Turkish female entrepreneurs are working in Southern Sudan, an area without roads, running water, or electricity, and where tribal life is still dominant. Özen Yeniçeri of the three says, “We are commandos here, we need to hold on.”
The Turkish businesswomen working in the waterless towns of Sudan, also lacking in electricity, have even had to stay in tents. The result of this is that they are starting to gain some authority and have a say in this new Sudan. The three women have traveled to Sudan to bid for infrastructure projects and aid in the rebuilding of the country."
