Ankara. The site of the nuclear power plant in Turkey is already known, Turkish Minister of Energy Hilmi Guler stated cited by Turkish newspaper Zaman.
In interview with Turkish TV station the Minister noted that in connection to the country’s nuclear project investments amounting to USD 128.5 billion must be made until 2020.
The newspaper reminds that during its session last month the Turkish National SecurityCouncil discussed two variants for the site of the power plant –Mersin province, southern Turkey, or near town of Sinop, northern Turkey."
