Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said Turkey would not open its ports and airports to traffic from Greek Cyprus unless sanctions imposed on the Turkish Cypriots were lifted.
�As we said before, our Parliament will not approve the additional protocol that foresees the opening of our ports and airports to traffic from Greek Cyprus unless the isolation of Turkish Cyprus ends. We are insistent on this,� Erdoğan said in an exclusive interview with weekly Austrian magazine Profil."
