"World Bank Lends 143.7 Mln Euros To Turkish Railways
ANKARA - World Bank granted a loan of 143.7 million Euros (nearly 184.7 million USD) to Turkish Railways (TCDD) for reconstruction of railways in Turkey.
Statements released by World Bank and Turkish Treasury Undersecretariat indicated that executives of the bank and the undersecretariat signed agreement regarding the loan in Ankara on Monday.
The loan will be used for consulting services, personnel training and improvement of railway infrastructure."
