Southeastern European interior ministers over the weekend released a statement pledging to cooperate in the fight against international terrorism, organized crime and smuggling.
Turkish Interior Minister Abdulkadir Aksu, who represented Turkey at the meeting, said that he expressed Turkey's determination to fight against international terrorism and smuggling.
On the sidelines of the informal ministerial meeting, Aksu also met his Bulgarian counterpart to find common ground for making the Turkish-Bulgarian border free from illegal activities."
