"Armenia Supports Turkey's EU Membership
Armenian President Robert Kocharian, in his speech at Swedish Foreign Policy Institute said that Armenia did not object to Turkey's potential membership in the EU, 'as the process of accession will make it a more predictable country'. A Turkish diplomat told the JTW that 'one of the instability source in the region is Armenia not Turkey. Turkey is a predictable country and has occupied no country in the region. However 20 percent of Azerbaijan is still under Armenian occupation'. Armenia does not recognise Turkey's and Azerbaijan's national borders."
