BRUSSELS - Turkey-European Union (EU) Joint Parliamentary Commission (JPC) Co-chairman Joost Lagendijk has indicated today that Istanbul is a beautiful city with its history and current status. ''Istanbul is in the top 10 list of the world (in terms of its beauty),'' said Lagendijk.
Lagendijk held a press conference at the European Parliament (EP) with Istanbul 2010 European Cultural Capital (ECC) Advisory Committee Chairman Egemen Bagis and Chief of the Executive Committee Nuri Colakoglu."
