"Talat's Letter To Annan Published As A U.N. Document
LEFKOSA - Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Mehmet Ali Talat's letter dated Feb. 1st addressed to UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan has been published as a UN document.
In his letter, Talat noted that Turkey's action plan on Cyprus was the best opportunity to overcome the existing deadlock and reach a solution regarding Cyprus and East Mediterranean region, indicating that TRNC supported fully the action plan on Cyprus that was made public by Turkish FM & Deputy PM Abdullah Gul on January 24th."
