It was an education minister of the Ottoman government who said at the time that he would be able to manage the education system very well if there weren't any schools. The anecdote attributed to Emrullah Efendi dates back to the first decade of the 20th century. Now, the Turkish Republic, founded after the late Ottoman Empire, is passing through the first decade of the 21st century with concrete projects aimed at making the existing education system better that do not ignore the presence of problems."
