ANKARA - World Development Federation (WDF) included former Turkish President Suleyman Demirel in its list of ''statesmen''.
WDF chooses statesmen and professionals who implement projects and programs to make world a better place to live and increase humanitarian development and people's life quality and include them in its list.
Demirel was chosen as he is the leader of development of Southeastern Anatolian Project (GAP) which is an integrated development project offering big economic opportunities."
