An association founded by property owners in Tarlabaşı has filed a complaint with the European Court of Human Rights regarding Beyoğlu Municipality’s urban renewal project, claiming their historical buildings will be demolished. The renters, mostly Kurdish and Roma people, are worried they will be forced to leave their homes for alternatives they cannot afford"
