"Turkey, UK set up working group on environment
Turkey and United Kingdom decided to set up a working group to help the Turkish government meet European Union membership criteria on environment issues.
The decision was made public on Saturday in Istanbul folowing the meeting between Turkey’s Chief Negotiator with EU, Egemen Bağış and UK Minister for European Affairs. Chris Bryant, came to Turkey to attend the official launch of Istanbul as the EU Capital of Culture. He met with Bağış ahead of Saturday night’s official ceremony."
