Istanbul Culture and Tourism Directorate General's data showed that Istanbul attracted 339,897 tourists in January; 408,083 tourists in February; 485,607 visitors in March; 632,209 tourists in April; 700,123 tourists in May; 698,648 tourists in June; 915,620 tourists in July; 747,674 tourists in August; 679,686 visitors in September; 761,692 tourists in October; 555,917 in November and 584,585 visitors in December 2009."
