"Pirate attack on Turkish ship thwarted
A German military helicopter helped foil an attempt by pirates to hijack a Turkish cargo ship in the Gulf of Aden early Friday.
Six pirates aboard a skiff attacked the Elgiznur Çebi cargo ship in the early hours of Friday morning, the Turkish Armed Forces said in a statement posted on its Web site."
