Turkey's interior minister says the government is considering ways to make Kurdish rebels lay down their arms but he indicated that it has no immediate plans for an amnesty.
Besir Atalay was briefing journalists on Monday on the outcome of monthlong meetings to build public support for a yet-to-be-announced plan to end the 25-year-old conflict with autonomy-seeking Kurdish rebels."
