From 1958 until 2002, students at the Gaziosmanpaşa School in Ortaköy enjoyed studying on the shores of the Bosphorus. An ideal setting to inspire young minds, the school remained in use until 2002, when a fire took place after school hours, causing the building to be rendered useless as a place of study."
