It’s a tough question to answer, even though I was prepared for it. Missourinet News Director Bob Priddy, who participated in the RIAS Commission journalist exchange in 2001, had mentioned that a German journalist he had encountered asked him that question. There is a fascination in Germany about the role of religion in everyday life in America as well as in our politics."
