Athina Yenimata-Kritiku, the wife of Greece's ambassador to Turkey, praised Ankara's efforts to become a member of the European Union. Speaking to the Anatolia news agency over the weekend, Yenimata-Kritiku said Turkey should be admitted into the EU. She also hailed ties between the neighboring countries."
