This week will be one of decisions of paramount political importance: Turkey's contribution to the United Nations-helmeted force in Lebanon. Given the signals from Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan or from remarks by Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul at the end of his visit to Beirut, as well as prior to his visit to Tel Aviv, it's likely that Turkey will participate. There is, at least, an eagerness on the part of the political authorities."
