The Iraqi foreign minister pledged on Monday to immediately shut down the terrorist Kurdistan Workers Party's (PKK) offices in his country, at a time of rising warnings by Ankara to eliminate the terrorist group from Iraq.
Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari told the Washington Times that his government was preparing for serious steps against the PKK. Stressing the need to revive trilateral mechanism between Turkey, U.S. and Iraq, Zebari said that should also include a member from the Iraqi Kurdistan regional government.
