"Turkish Judge's Murder Fuels Religious Feud, Weakens Government

June 5 (Bloomberg) -- The murder of a senior judge is reigniting a religious dispute in Turkey and undermining support for Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's government before elections next year.

Alparslan Arslan, a 29-year-old lawyer, stormed an Ankara administrative court on May 17, shouting he was a ``soldier of Allah'' and shooting to death Judge Mustafa Yucel Ozbilgin, police say. The attack, in which four other judges were wounded, was in protest of a court ruling that upheld a ban on teachers wearing the Islamic headscarf, court officials said."
