Turkey is a beautiful country in the spring -- many wildflowers and 3 million tulips in Istanbul. We've visited several ancient cities, Ephesus, Pergamum, Troy and this Hellenistic theatre near Pamukkale. One night was spent at the Pine Marina Hotel in Kusadasi, with a fantastic view of the Aegean Sea. Arrived in Istanbul today and began a tour of this historic city on Saturday. What an experience.
