"No protection for children in riots: Turk PM

DIYARBAKIR, Turkey (Reuters) - Turkey's prime minister said on Friday children were being used as 'pawns of terrorism' in unrest gripping the largely Kurdish southeast and warned that security forces could not guarantee their safety.
'If you cry tomorrow, it will be in vain,' Tayyip Erdogan said in an appeal to parents to keep their children away from the worst civil unrest in decades that has seen youths burning tyres and throwing stones at security forces."
