"Istanbul Sazendeleri in Sweden
The “Istanbul Sazendeleri (group of musicians)” has arrived in Stockholm, upon an invitation from the Turkish Embassy there, to give a concert to a Swedish audience. The group will play Turkish music and will give examples of music from ethnic minorities during the Ottoman era. The group uses many instruments including a six-pair stringed lute, small three-stringed violin and dulcimer.
“Istanbul Sazendeleri” previously performed in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Japan and the Netherlands.
The group was born in 1999."
