"EU Secretariat prepares new package for EU harmonization
Ankara is launching a new European Union harmonization package that would 'fill in the gaps' in its harmonization efforts.
The EU package, which was disclosed by Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul earlier this week, will be presented to the EU ambassadors on Friday. In an unexpected move Ankara contacted EU-Term President Austria on Wednesday morning and announced that Oguz Demiralp, the head of the European Union Secretariat-General, is to brief the representatives of the EU on the contents of the package."
