ANKARA, March 23 (Xinhua) -- Terrorism is the biggest social malady of the 21st century, Turkish Chief of General Staff Hilmi Ozkok told an international symposium on the fight against terrorism on Thursday.
Speaking at the symposium on 'Global Terrorism & International Cooperation,' Ozkok said, 'all nations should jointly respond to the ugly message of terrorism. One person is qualified as 'the warrior of freedom' in one country due to his or her acts, while qualified as a 'traitor' in another country due to his unforgivable crimes against the state. I think this is the biggest obstacle before the eradication of terrorism.'"
