According to Sabah, Belgian Minister of Justice Laurette Onkelix, who was demanded to resign in the aftermath of Erdal’s escape, told that they had thought wrong about Turkey. She added: “we did not know Erdal and DHKP-C well. DHKP-C is not a political organization, it is a terrorist organization”."
