Iran has handed over seven members of the outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) to Turkey, the semi- official Anatolia news agency reported on Monday.

The report said that the seven PKK members, including a woman, were captured by Iranian soldiers and handed over to the gendarmery headquarters in the Yuksekova town of the Hakkari province in southeastern Turkey.

In the past three years, 1,325 Kurdish rebels were captured or killed in Turkey while altogether 246 soldiers, police officers and village guards died in the clashes, Turkish Interior Minister Abdulkadir Aksu said last month."
